Ho ho ho! Yes, it's Christmas already!! At least, it's the hUJe Xmas Special this Saturday... a whole eighteen hours of festive fun and if you get there at the start it'll only cost you a fiver (or even £4 if you dress up)!!! It's the chance to collect silly costumes to wear for Xmas parties - we'll have Xmas pressies and crackers, free CDs to give away and it's even going to SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't forgotten my promise to try to scan the hUJe birthday card... I've even started! Let you know when it's finished and all joined up :)

An update on our worthy cause: one of our members - Steve - is walking from Land's End to John O'Groats and back to raise money for a couple of children's hospices. He started the same day hUJe came back from holidays and I just got a text from Steve this morning as he crossed into England - only 12 more counties to go!! I guess he still thinks he'll get back to Land's End in January (presumably he still hasn't seen the weather forecast 8o). Music to put a smile on your feet - energetic uplifting hard dance - in surroundings you won't recognise.

At hUJe we party every week, but we're just practising for Xmas. Were you at last year's Xmas party? If so, check the flyer - you might be on it! This is the one that everyone specially looks forward to; a whole eighteen hours of the best dance music surrounded by all the friends we've made daytime partying! This one's our Xmas Party... a proper family Christmas with lots of trimmings and no turkeys! Are you going to be one of those to make it all the way through? Start training as soon as possible cos once you've started dancing you're not going to want to stop!

Eighteen hours makes it even easier to make sure you don't miss the Xmas celebration - even if you're committed elsewhere too; though we have to admit, once you're on the dancefloor it's not easy to leave!

Of course we'll be doing our best to help your comfort and enjoyment: there's a proper bouncy wooden dance floor and plenty of comfy chairs in the Mass and we'll draft in some extra cushions too; the bar will be serving tea & coffee as well as the discounted drinks and we'll be bringing in free munchies to keep you going. We've arranged for re-admittance too if you can't resist popping out for some fast food or you just want to check if Santa's been yet ;)

It's not only the music that's going the extra mile. On top of creating a unique environment with our individual decor, we'll be bringing in lots of pretty lights and a tree, plus NRG lighting by Clubtek.it to drive the dancefloor and revelling in playing on a proper sound system... and we'll be coming up with some extra Xmas surprises too.

    TWIST returns this week after an AWESOME 2nd Birthday Celebration in what turned into a marathon session! The tunes finally finished in room two courtesy of Red&Blue at 5pm. The TWIST Crew would like to thank EVERYONE who came along for making it a birthday party to remember! This week the party continues on with the No.1 resident DJs, crisp, clear sound, amazing lights and full colour laser, rejuvenated chill out area and fully air conditioned dance floor can only mean one thing: TWIST.
